Art Projects

If you like finding new ways to express yourself, join us as we experiment with all the crazy Pinterest ideas we can find. No experience is needed as art techniques are explored and we learn and create together.

Open Gym (Redefined)

A full-sized basketball court with a cart full of supplies gives students the chance to stretch their legs and their imagination. Outdoor space includes a large grass field, sand volleyball court, a fire pit, and a walking trail.

Homework Assistance

Grab a snack and get your homework out of the way. If you have questions, we have volunteers to help. If a student needs one-on-one assistance, click on photo and email to request an appointment.

Ukulele Jams

Ukuleles are available for a monthly jam session and each week for students who want to learn how to play. Other instruments are welcome. Come help us make a joyful noise!

Cooking

A snack cart is provided on arrival but it tastes so much better when we prepare our own. If you have a favorite recipe, we'll get the ingredients and you can help whip up something to share.

The Art Cafe is partnering with local artists and creative groups to draw attention to social issues through outdoor art installations. Art will be on display April 1-30.
