Ministry
Programs and Classes for Youth at FUMC
-
the new
Methodist Youth Fellowship
- Sundays, gathering in the fellowship hall from 6-8pm
-
Sunday School - Sundays
at 9:45am
- 6-8th Grade meets in room 9
- 9-12th Grade meets in room 7
Going back to the Core Truth - High school youth will spent this year
going back to their roots in
their faith lives and learning about some important topics through:
Activities, hands on learning,
games and Bible Study. This class is peer lead with adult facilitator
present.

Mid-Week Bible Study -
Wednesdays at 6:45pm
- 6-8th grade will meet in Room 9
Middle school youth will finish up their study on Matthew and pick a new
Book of the Bible
to study.
- 9-12th grade will meet in Room 7
High school youth will start this fall with a study on Spiritual Warfare.
Youth Missions
and Ministry Team
- Youth
Missions and Ministry Team is a group of youth that help
plan and run different youth programs at FUMC. All youth
are invited to attend and participate!

Barnabas Ministry (signups start in
September)
- The Barnabas
Ministry is an secret pal encouragement program between
the youth and adults of the church. If you would like to
signup to be part of the Barnabas program or would like

Chrysalis Flights
- Chrysalis is a 72
hour retreat weekend where you will spend time
with other youth your own age in worship, prayer,
fellowship, creative,
expression, recreation, singing, and discussion. It is a
time to experience
the love of God through prayers and acts of service from
a loving
supportive community. It is a time to discover or
re-discover your spiritually
self and experience God's love for you. Chrysalis
flights are for youth
between the ages of 15 (and finished with freshman year
of high school)
